toeforwebToe Roaster is an original play-musical involving three normal guys. Modern-day cowboys of sorts, they fight to reconcile in their own minds the struggle between their own priorities and modern day ills. Laced with humor and music, Hamlet, Chuck and Big Daddy spend time telling tall tales, reminiscing, and philosophizing. They deal with everything from how to ultimately please a woman, to why everyone seems to be ‘up at Wal Marts’, to irritating cell phones, swimming with sea creatures, and finally ‘world peace’

It leaves folks standing on their feet! The only complaint is from those who laugh so hard their sides hurt. The songs are hilarious, the characters are real as they are played by three of Nashville’s finest song writers, Bryan Kennedy, Wynn Varble, and Troy Jones. You will find their names on such hits as Darryl Worley’s CMA nominated song of the year in 2003 “Have You Forgotten”, Garth Brooks number one hits "Good Ride Cowboy", “The Beaches of Cheyenne”, and “The American Honky Tonk Bar Association”, and many more. Now these three proudly bring their writing talent to the stage.

Toe Roaster will be filmed live on stage in Oxford at the Powerhouse, January 21 & 22, 2010.  Be part of the event.  Bryan, Wynn and Troy want everyone to enjoy the show by performing a special "pay what you can" performance.  Proceeds from the "Pay what you can"performance will be donated to the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council.

The show may be free but tickets are required.  Tickets may be picked up at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center or by calling 662-236-6429
