Community Arts Grants: The Arts Council supports programs, special events and seed funding for new initiatives through the community arts grant program. Programs must occur in Oxford or Lafayette County or promote artists from this community.
Some current and past recipients include: Oxford Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Oxford, Thacker Mountain Radio, Oxford and Lafayette County public library, and the Oxford Conference for the Book. This funding is made possible by the Mississippi Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the arts.
