As the designated arts agency for Oxford and Lafayette County, MS since 1995, the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC) remains committed to an extraordinary and diverse offering of artistic and cultural opportunities for its members and constituents.
YAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and is capably
led by a dedicated board of directors selected from
the general membership. In our role as the official arts advocate for Oxford and Lafayette County, it is the policy of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council to forward notices to our email list regarding arts related events only. Thanks for your understanding.
The Powerhouse Community Arts Center is the new home of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC) and is located at 413 South 14th Street, at the corner of University Avenue and South 14th Street, across the street from Sneed's Hardware and next door to Newk's Restaurant.
