Artist Call: Holiday Ornament Auction
This year, the Holiday Ornament Auction is heating up! 🌴✨
We’re headed on holiday for YAC’s annual Holiday Ornament Auction, and this year’s theme is "On Holiday" (Palm Royale: Vintage Florida), think old Florida glamour, tropical palms, poolside elegance, retro colors, and a little bit of holiday magic.
Artists are invited to create an original ornament inspired by this year’s theme, if you’d like! You’re also welcome to put your own creative spin on the holidays and create something that feels uniquely yours. We’ve attached an aesthetic sheet for the event to help inspire your creation.
About the Holiday Ornament Auction
The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council (YAC) is the official arts agency for the LOU community. YAC raises funds to support local artists and arts organizations, educational programs, free community programming, creative entrepreneurs, and more.
The Holiday Ornament Auction is YAC’s key annual fundraiser, and its continued success is made possible by the generosity and creativity of local artists like you.
We would love for you to donate your talent and help us continue creating opportunities for artists while bringing the community together through the arts. Past artist contributions have included small sculptures, painted ornaments, photo cubes, quilted pieces, handmade ornaments, and more.
Create whatever speaks to you! Whether you lean into the Palm Royale theme or take your ornament in an entirely different direction, we’d love to see what you make.
