For previous students of Constance Pierce's classes, this is a special opportunity to receive art studio mentoring in enhancing or completing prior art works, as well as assisting with direction for future projects.
During this small group creative fellowship, the instructor will offer personal attention for creative drawing, watercolors, "paraphrase" studies of master artists and Image Journaling. Advise on matting, framing and presentation for exhibition is also provided.
Cancellation Policy: Refund if student cancels one week prior to class start. No other refunds offered.
Instructor: Constance Pierce has exhibited her sketchbooks at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (DC ) and taught with the Smithsonian Art Studio (DC), Cleveland Art Institute (OH), Penland School (NC) and served as tenured professor of drawing and painting in New York state. She was also a visiting artist at Millsaps College and research fellow at Yale University Divinity School (CT). She has exhibited in NY, DC, CT, OH, PA, MD, MI, AL, MS and most recently in Japan. Her work can be seen locally at Oxford Treehouse Gallery.
