Adult Sewing Class: Absolute Beginner Machine Sewing Class
Dates: Mondays, September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th
Times: 6-8 p.m.
Location: Lafayette County Arena
Instructor: Andi Bedsworth
Learn the basics of sewing including threading and operating your machine, basic seaming, and more. Students will work through samples putting them in a binder for reference and will work on several small projects to learn basic skills on the machine. Must bring a sewing machine to class. Supply list available at registration.
Prices: $130 for YAC members, $145 for non-members
The Lafayette County Arena is located at 70 F.D. Buddy East Parkway (70 County Road 406). This road connects Hwy 6 to Hwy 334 by the Lafayette County Schools. The class will be held in the small classroom. Enter through the MS State Extension Services entrance (glass doors, left hand side of the arena).
